Titan 7490: An Adhesive Solution
Titan 7490 is a single component, very low viscosity anaerobic threadlocking adhesive, which develops medium to high strengths after curing. The product cures between close fitting metal parts where there is an absence of air. What separates this product from our competitors', however, is the addition of extra tracer dye to ease in the detection of the adhesive on the substrates. When bonding small and very close fitting metal parts, it is often difficult for the human eye to pick up the the minimal amount of adhesive that needs to be used in an application. Obsessed with optimizing the assembly process, Cyberbond recently glued more precision to the Apollo line of cyanoacrylates with a new cap design. The ingenuity behind the new cap is to provide a more accurate adhesive application process free of leaking or clogging. What seperates this new packaging option is two intricately engineered parts: the nozzle and the top cap. To prevent the nozzle from slipping out the cap has been directly screwed on the bottle's thread inside of the top cap. The nozzle is protected by a thorn located on the inside of the top cap that eliminates all leakage. Additionally, the thorn acts as a blockade to prevent clogging. As if the clog and leak free components of the cap were not enough, the top of the nozzle is the host to a small ring that permits special dosing tips to be attached. These tips help to increase accuracy and eliminate waste by allowing the controlled release of specific sized doses. Apollo H4: The Power of Neomer Technology
Based on Cyberbond’s Neomer Technology, the Apollo H4 is a further developed and heavily improved cyanoacrylate. The product is surface insensitive, however, it separates itself from the many other surface insensitive products on the market by its ability to cure more rapidly and create stronger bonds on highly acidic substrates.
While an alkaline surface accelerates the bonding process, acidic surfaces slow down the set time of cyanoacrylates, or cause the polymerization process to be avoided completely. However, the Apollo H4 contains an additive which neutralizes the acidity and enlarges the surface tension.
