Neomer Technology - Apollo H-Series Cyanoacrylates
With its new Neomer Technology, Cyberbond offers a further developed and heavily improved line of cyanoacrylates. Containing a special surface insensitive additive, these products result in a curing process that neutralizes the acidity of a substrate and enlarges surface tension. The cyanoacrylates resist being soaked away and the polymerization process takes place much faster.
The H-Series is termed "surface insensitive", however, the new line separates itself from the many different "accelerated" or "surface insensitive" cyanoacrylates on the market. These competing products all have the same disadvantage: if a cyanoacrylate adhesive is accelerated to become surface insensitive, the product must be stabilized at a higher level in order to reach a sufficient shelf life. This higher stabilization slows down the set time on many materials like rubber and plastic, and can cause the polymerization process to be avoided completely. The H-Series adhesives do not require this higher stabilization level; allowing them to cure more rapidly and create stronger bonds on highly acidic substrates.

Cyberbond Xtra-flex Series Cyanoacrylates
Today's assembly and bonding requirements call for adhesive performance under dynamic load conditions. As the components being bonded get smaller and smaller, the stress on the bond area is getting much higher. Furthermore, chemical and temperature requirements continue to amplify. While standard cyanoacrylates cannot withstand these conditions due to their inherent stiffness, a new solution lies within our Cyberbond Xtra-flex series of rubber-toughened cyanoacrylates.
The advantage of these products is highlighted greatly in applications where the adhesive joint is exposed to varying temperatures; if the two bonded materials have different thermal expanding co-efficients; or even worse, if the adhesive is exposed to humidity or water. These semi-flexible cyanoacrylates, with their inherent resistance, strengths, and high speed of bonds that they produce, offer some interesting and exciting possibilities.
When it comes to rubber-toughened cyanoacrylates, the best results for your application will come from the Cyberbond Xtra-flex series.
